You’re Not Lost. You’re Under-Challenged.

A 30-Day Trial Designed

To Reintroduce Pressure Across

Mind, Body, and Spirit.

You Don’t Need More Information. You Need Pressure.

What Are

"The Storm Trials"?

  • 30-day trial designed to restore pressure where modern life removed it

  • 30 days of assigned readings and journaling based on ideas from histories greatest thinkers.

  • 30 day exercise system to build your body.

  • 30 day creation system for have you build, and release, something into the world.

  • A system for men who are capable, disciplined once, but slipping.

  • Daily, non-negotiable work across Mind, Body, and Spirit

  • Built for men who don’t need permission, only a standard

The Problem With

The Modern Man

The Modern Man does not lack ability, his abilities are just no longer required.

All the great enemies from our past have been conquered.

Hunger is solved with a trip to the supermarket.

Blistering heat and numbing coldness is treated with the thermostat.

Darkness with a switch

Boredom with a screen.

The giants of the past conquered every enemy they could see.

That left us with one they couldn’t prepare us for:

Comfort

Why push today when tomorrow always exists?

Why work on your craft when a thinking machine can do it for you?

Why train your body when most battles happen behind a screen?

Why develop your mind when complexity won’t fit into 60 seconds?

The Modern Man is underchallenged.

Energy with nowhere to go turns into noise. Making men more anxious than they have ever been.

Attention with nothing to focus on turns into doomscrolling. Where thousands of pieces of content are consumed but nothing is retained.

Standards that once meant performing well in school, in sports and in your career are lowered until you meet the expectations of the community.

All in the name of comfort. All because The Modern Man lives in a world that rewards:

  • Consumption over creation

  • Safety over growth

  • Optimization over effort

  • Talking about change instead of doing the work

This leads to a life that is stable, predictable, and unthreatening. A life where nothing is wrong, and that is the most dangerous trap of them all. And that is the most dangerous condition a capable man can live in.

The warm bed in the morning.

The fast food in the evening.

The want, no need, for daily comforts.

Without real resistance the mind dulls, the body softens, and goals get pushed off to tomorrow.

The Modern Man drifts.

And drift turns capable men into observers of their own lives.

Why The Storm Trials?

When I was sixteen, I was driving to a band rehearsal in rain so heavy you could barely see ten feet in front of you.

The kind of storm where the radio disappears beneath thunder.

My mom had just been diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer.

The storm matched my mood.

As I showed up to the rehearsal, the storm broke, and so did I. It was the first time I let myself feel what was happening.

I realized something.

Comfort isn't an option.

I still had to wake up early to go to train regardless of how I felt.

I still had to keep my grades up.

I still had commitments to my band.

We were fortunate enough to have a lot of friends who helped us during that time. But I did not want pity for what my family was going through.

Effort was expected no matter the circumstance. That day has been a cornerstone for how I approach life sense.

I learned that we can't control the storms that are coming, only our response to them.

Back then, I had so much on my plate. Training twice a day for swim team, 3 bands worth of rehearsals along with practicing cello and bass guitar outside of rehearsals. Honor classes in school where I was buried in readings. I didn't have the option to feel sorry for what my Mom was going through if I still wanted to achieve my goals.

Life doesn't stop when a storm comes.

Years later, long after my mom passed away, long after I graduated from College, long after I quit swimming, I began to feel the contrast.

Comfort began to take over.

My standards softened.

Effort became optional.

The worse part is nothing collapsed, nothing broke, on paper I was doing great. I had a good business doing Sound Mixing for artist like Taylor Swift and Lil Wayne, and recording comedy specials for some of the top comedians in the world.

Nothing broke.

But something faded.

I didn’t lose intelligence. I didn’t lose discipline.

I lost constraint.

So I began testing a simple idea:

What happens if pressure is reintroduced deliberately? Just enough resistance to force action every day, and that's when the feeling from High School and college began to return.

Calm inside effort.
Clarity under demand.
A quiet confidence that didn’t need validation.

That state is what I now call Serain.

The sense of peace, serenity, that I experienced after that rain storm.

Not motivation.
Not belief.
Not identity.

A condition that emerges when a capable person is placed back under meaningful pressure.

This is what The Storm Trials are meant to create. A structure that builds your Mind, Body, and Spirit so that we can be better prepared for the Storm's life throws at us.

No matter what "The Modern Man" throws at you.

The Storm Cycle

The Storm Trials are a 30-day system designed to reintroduce resistance.

The storm cycle is meant to test your body, mind and spirit.

They are not for those looking for motivation

They are not for those looking for therapy

They are not for those looking to be content

They are deliberate pressure.

They are for those who recognize that the Modern Man is found in each and every single one of us and if we give in to comfort, we sacrifice the life that we have been given.

For the next thirty days you will:

  • Complete one task for the Mind

  • Complete one task for the Body

  • Produce one act of Spirit (creation, not consumption)

Every action is logged.

Every effort is made visible.

Failure to participate results in removal.

Men do not change because they feel inspired.

They change because structure leaves them no alternative.

The Mind Trials

The Mind Trials take from the best authors and psychologists over the past 150 years.

You will be expected to not only read Nietzsche, Jung, and Marcus Aurelius but apply what you learn to your life. Mental masturbation found in schools is not allowed. Reading, memorizing, then forgetting after an arbitrary test will not happen.

When you study Nietzsche you will learn to conquer weakness.

When you study Jung, you will learn to engage with your spirit.

When you study Marcus Aurelius you will learn how to apply discipline.

You will read these passages because they are here to make your life better.

Over the next 30 days you can create a completely updated mindset to kill the Modern Man, but only if you are willing to spend 10-15 minutes a day reading, thinking, writing and growing.

The Body Trials

The Modern Man lives as if the body is optional, as if strength is a hobby, as if health is an aesthetic choice.

The Body is the foundation of the self.

Discipline is created first in the body. You can not rely on raw intellect to overcome missing a day. You can not rely on verbal tricks in a training session. 500 pounds is 500 pounds, and the only people that can lift 500 pounds are those who train.

Over the next 30 days you will be given a weight lifting regime to follow (or a set of body weight exercise if you don’t have access to a gym).

Push, Pull, Legs.

  • Progressive Training Program

    • Bodyweight or gym-based

  • The Body Trial

    • Choose one of three final physical test

The Spirit Trials

The spirit is the most neglected part of modern life.

Men are taught to work but not to create.

This is by design.

Corporations do not need creatives, they need workers.

But the wealthiest in our society do not slave under a business, they create their own. The ones who change culture in our society do not write for a paper, but place their ideas into the marketplace of ideas. The best artists do not create background music for corporate videos but create music that is true to them.

At the beginning of The Storm Trials you will be asked to sit down for 30 minutes with me and describe what you want to create. What you want to put into the world at the end of the thirty days.

Then each day you will be given time to dedicate to your project, given assignments to study someone who you respect in your field and then apply it to your work. Ask members in the Tribe for feedback.

In 30 days you can take the first step to building what you are meant to create.

  • A single creative output to pursue for 30 days

  • Daily, non-negotiable time carved out for creation over consumption

  • Clear constraints that force progress instead of perfection

  • Structured prompts that turn ideas into tangible work

  • Weekly exposure of your work to the group, feedback without ego protection

  • Study of one practitioner you respect, with direct application to your own craft

  • A final deliverable completed by Day 30, finished, not polished

  • A shift from “thinking about creating” to producing under pressure

The Storm Ledger

When you accept the invitation, you will receive an invite to our Tribe on Discord and a way to log your Storm Trials with the Storm Ledger.

Every day you will be given three tasks to complete. One for the Mind, one for the Body, one for the Spirit.

Then you will be asked to share.

Because of how insidious the Modern Man is today, this is being made available for free.

All you need to do is accept the invitation.

The Invitation

Up until this point, nothing has been asked of you.

We have shown you the storm.

We have shown you the storm.

We have shown you the villain.

We have shown you the path.

We have shown you the tribe.

But now it is up to you to decide what you want to do next.

A choice.

Are you going to choose to wait until tomorrow?

Are you going to choose to wait until next month?

Are you going to choose to let another year pass you by?

The storm does not wait.

Most men will read these words and do nothing. Most will return to being sedated. Most will remain Modern Men.

But you know you are not most men.

If you feel the storm inside you, you feel it calling your name. Answer it.

Because your path is just about to begin.

Your Path begins with the first Storm Cycle. 30 days of building your Mind, Body, and Spirit.
